Half-Day Kure Marine Culture Tour

Kure flourished with shipbuilding as the greatest naval port city in All of East Asia. The largest battle ship, the YAMATO was born in Kure about 80 years ago. Kure's long history remains unchanged as the center of marine culture in Japan.

Kure is also famous for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) and owns the majority of Japanese submarines on display here. Kure is the only town where active and retired submarines can be viewed so closely from the  public space in Japan. 
​
In this tour, you'll be able to see the unique marine cultures and large ships & submarines on the water by the boat cruising. ​
